Promoter: Footscray Football Club Limited (ABN 68 005 226 595) of 417 Barkly Street, Footscray, Victoria, 3011, trading as Western Bulldogs (“Western Bulldogs”).
Type of Promotion: Game of Chance
Promotional Period: Opens 9am AEDT Thursday 17 October 2024, closes 11:59pm AEDT Sunday 20 October. The Promoter may amend the Promotional Period in accordance with state legislative rules.
Eligible Entrants: Entry is free to enter and open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
Employees of the Promoter, contractors, agents of supplier(s) and sponsors of the Promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Immediate families means spouse, de facto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) and grandparents.
Maximum Entries: Eligible Entrants may enter once only, per week.
Number of winner(s): There will be one (1) winner, per week.
Selection of Winner(s): The winning Entry will be picked at random from all the Entries (the Draw) at 10:00am on the Monday following the preceding match, at the Western Bulldog’s address. The winner will be the first Entry selected at random by a random electronic generator.
Notification of Winner(s): The winner(s) will be contacted by email and/or phone number provided on the entry form by the Friday following the preceding week.
Prize: $50AUD worth of Bitcoin cryptocurrency, with one (1) prize awarded each round.
Unclaimed Prize Arrangements: If there are any unclaimed Prizes or if a winner cannot be contacted (i.e. attempts to contact the winner are unsuccessful) or the Winner does not claim the Prize within seven business days of being contacted, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize, and the Promoter may undertake a re-draw on the same day after the Prize Claim Date & time has ended. In such case, the first valid Entry drawn from the remainder of the Entries in the re-draw will be entitled to the Prize (Replacement Winner). The Replacement Winner is then the winner of the Prize for the purposes of these Conditions of Entry and will be notified by way of the notification method set out above.

Conditions of Entry
1. Instructions and information on how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this Promotion (including by a companion) constitutes acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
2. Late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected Entries will be deemed invalid.
3. By entering this Promotion entrants agree to allow the Promoter to repost their Entry on the Promoter’s Facebook, TikTok Twitter, Instagram or its other official social media accounts, the Promoter’s website and within the Promoter’s electronic direct mail (EDM) communication pieces.
4. By entering the Promotion, each entrant:
a. gives the Promoter and the Prize Provider consent andauthority to publicly announce and publish their name (should they be a winner); and
b. grants the Promoter and the Prize Provider a world-wide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty free and sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish or display (in whole or in part) any intellectual property contained in the content of their Entry, without royalty, payment or other compensation. Each entrant consents to the Promoter or their respective agents, employees, contractors or sub-licensees doing anything in relation to such use which might otherwise infringe the entrant's moral rights and warrants that they have full authority to grant such rights.
5. Winner/s agree to take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. Winner/s consent to the Promoter using their names and images in any promotional or advertising activity.
6. The Promoter and the Prize Provider is not liable for any other additional costs associated with winning this Promotion or the prizes that comprise this Promotion.
7. Unless expressly stated otherwise, if a Prize involves travel, no other costs will be included and all expenses (including, but not limited to, the costs of transport to and from a Prize venue and meals), other than those specifically referred to, will be at each prize winner’s and (if applicable) their companion(s)’s cost. Accommodation prizes cover room charges only. The Promoter will not be liable for the failure of the winner and any companions to meet travel schedules or cancellations for whatever reason and regardless as to fault, and no cash or alternative tickets or bookings will be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize. No travel insurance is included in any travel prize. Unless otherwise specified, entrants/winners/companions must make their own way to and from all events associated with the Promotion/Prize at their own cost.
8. Unless expressly stated otherwise, if a Prize involves tickets to an event, the Promoter will not be responsible for any changes in times or dates, cancellations or rescheduling of events that may prevent the prize winner from redeeming the Prize or any part of it and no cash or alternative tickets will be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize. All tickets are only valid for the date or period specified on the tickets or by the prize provider, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the prize provider, including any conditions of entry into the relevant event location (e.g. behaviour requirements and applicable dress codes), any conditions of ticket validity and any restrictions on ticket on-sale or transfer. The Promoter does not control entry to the relevant event location. Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any ticket that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
9. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter and the Prize Provider accept no responsibility for any variation in the value of Prizes. Where a Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter and the Prize Provider may substitute another item of equal value for that Prize, as determined by the Promoter and the Prize Provider.
10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the identity of entrants. Proof of Entry and identity will only be deemed as sufficient at the discretion of the Promoter.
11. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being properly conducted due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves its rights to disqualify any entrant or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion, to the extent permitted by law.
12. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
13. A prize winner has rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by the Promoter. These rights include a statutory guarantee that any services provided by the Promoter and the Prize Provider will be rendered with due care and skill and that any goods supplied will be of acceptable quality. These Conditions of Entry do not exclude, restrict or modify those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent it is permitted by law to do so, the Promoter and the Prize Provider makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, other than those contained within the Australian Consumer Law, regarding the quality and suitability of any Prize and will not be responsible for breach of any such terms.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to reject, disqualify and remove any Entry that contains offensive, inappropriate or derogatory material or does not comply with these Conditions of Entry. Any Entry containing such content may be deemed invalid at the discretion of the Promoter.
15. The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform provider (including, but not limited to, the providers of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter) or any of their related entities (Provider). Each entrant agrees to release any Provider from all liability in connection with, or in relation to, the Promotion. These Conditions of Entry do not intend to conflict with, or derogate from, a Provider’s terms and conditions of use, statement of rights and responsibilities (if any), data use policy or any other terms and conditions imposed by the relevant Provider on entrants from time to time to use the relevant social media platform.
16. Personal information provided by entrants will be used by the Promoter and the Prize Provider for the purpose of conducting this Promotion and otherwise in accordance with contestants’ consent. The Promoter may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its contractors and agents in relation to the conduct of this Promotion, such as the Prize Provider.
